What is Med Pay? (Medical Payment)
Med Pay is an additional insurance policy that covers medical costs you or your passengers have after an accident.
Why do I need Med Pay?
Insurance companies have stopped paying doctors for care resulting from a car accident. This means you will have to pay out of pocket for your care and then get reimbursed by the other persons insurance company.
If you have Med Pay the doctor will be paid directly from your Insurance company. Your insurance will get the money form the other persons insurance.
Will using Med Pay hurt my insurance rates?
Your insurance will not go up if you use Med Pay.
Med Pay is a separate insurance attached to your car insurance and will not effect your car insurance rates.
Is Med Pay insurance expensive?
Med Pay is very cheep insurance only about $10 a month and it will save you thousands of dollars in medical bills.
