Dr. Ken Gilden has been performing Chiropractic since 1997. His formal Chiropractic training was out of Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. Dr. Ken Gilden received his advanced training from the Gonstead Clinic in Mt. Horeb, WI.
The two types of Chiropractic Adjusting that Dr. Gilden uses are Manual Adjusting and Instrument Adjusting.
The Manual Adjusting is done using the Gonstead Method. The Gonstead Method is one of the most respected systems of chiropractic due to its difficulty to learn and the results it provides.
A low force Instrument Adjustment is also available to patients that prefer a lighter adjustment. Although the Instrument Adjustment is not as deep as a Manual Adjustment it is delivered at a much greater speed and thus provides many of the same benefits as the Manual Adjustment.
In addition to the successful chiropractic practice Dr. Ken Gilden is also the founder of Animal Fire Rescue. This is a volunteer organization that provides emergency response training for Fire Departments and the San Diego Humane Society. The prior years Dr. Gilden spent in the Fire Service provided the experience necessary to develop such an organization.
Dr. Ken Gilden also helps his community by volunteering with the following organizations:
- The Greater Alpine Fire Safe Council
- Animal Fire Rescue
- San Diego Humane Society Emergency Response Team
- Department of Animal Services Disaster Response Team
